I base my cake prices mainly on how many guests the cake needs to feed and amount of decoration of the final product.
My simpler cakes (3-4 tiers, fondant or butter cream covered, ribbon or piped borders, simple scroll work, fresh flowers) average about $300.00 - $400.00 for a wedding of about 120-180 people.

More Intricate Cakes:
A cake that requires more intricated deorations such as sugar flowers, hand painting, quilting, fondant pearls and things of that nature would range about $350.00-$450.00 for the same 3-4 tier cake feeding the same 120-180 people.

And then there are the cakes that take every ones breath away. Below are a few examples of what I like to call "extravagant cakes" These over the top, highly decorated cakes start at about $500.00 and up depending on the wedding needs and the final product.

Why Todaro's Is A Better Choice For Your Budget:
My prices are competitive in that a bakery will usually charge per slice. Ranging any where from $4.00-$7.00 and up. If we did the math that means that a cake from a bakery would range $480.00-$840.00 for an average wedding of 120 people.
I also do all my own sugar work, something that most bakeries do not and charge heavily for.
I deliver for free to any venue in the New York Metro area and will deliver out side of NY for a fee. The average bakery delivery fee is about 5% of the total cost of the cake.
Of course you don't have to take my word for it that my cakes are delicious. I offer tastings so that you can come see for yourself.
During a cake tasting I offer 3 choices of cakes and filling from the list below. Served in specific combinations or "Family Style". Meaning the 3 cakes and fillings set out individually to mix and match in many different combinations.
